Eight awards, judged by a panel of professionally qualified local experts, will be presented at the awards ceremony which takes place on 26th September at Radisson Blu. Seven awards will celebrate the professional achievements of ICSA members, both individuals and teams, and will include Company Secretary of the Year; Administrator of the Year; Governance Award and The One to Watch. The Student Excellence Award will recognise examination results of ICSA students achieved throughout 2013/2014.
Ogier group director, Simon Mackenzie, said: ‘I’m absolutely delighted that Ogier Corporate Services has been shortlisted once again for these prestigious awards. As a business we enjoy substantial benefits from the ICSA qualifications of our team members.
‘Following the completion of the management buy-out of Ogier Fiduciary Services from the Ogier Group we continue to focus and invest in training and development to constantly drive performance. ICSA is a huge part of that training and helps us to raise the bar in terms of corporate governance and client service.’
ICSA (the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators) is the international qualifying and membership body for the chartered secretary profession and a recognised authority on governance and compliance. ICSA has over 36,000 members in the UK and Jersey is home to 800 members. In the local context the qualification is recognised by the Jersey Financial Services Commission and all major employers.
The awards ceremony will take place on Friday 26th September at the Radisson Blu.
