A generous budget is set aside for training and development and on joining we will agree your personal training plan with you.

We actively encourage you to obtain formal qualifications and further relevant professional qualifications. In order to do this, the firm provides financial support which includes tuition and examination fees, cost of materials and where necessary travel and accommodation. We also
provide appropriate study leave. In addition to this, we comply fully with the legal requirements for continuing professional development.

We are firm believers in supporting the community and have an active sponsorship and fundraising programme.

For example in Guernsey and Jersey our sponsorships focus on the Arts, Community & the Environment, Education and Sport. These include Le Squez youth club, where we have funded a full-time assistant youth worker; Kit4Clubs, where we help local sports clubs to purchase new equipment and upgrade facilities; and the Guernsey Squash Racquets Association and the Guernsey Young Enterprise Scheme. We have company charities selected by our employees each year, for which we raise approximately £50,000 annually through initiatives such as raffles, auctions and cake sales. Over the last few years we have raised money for local charities such as Macmillan and Family Nursing and Healthcare in Jersey and Les Bourgs Hospice Appeal and the Guernsey Lifeboat.
